The T248 includes a selection of over 20 different screens on its integrated display: manual adjustment of a set of settings (selection of Force Feedback effects type, steering wheel rotation angle, etc.), or user telemetry information options (ratio, RPM, player's fastest lap time, etc.).
DYNAMIC FORCE FEEDBACK EFFECTS
The T248 includes 3 types of Force Feedback effects (presets included), compatible with all games and modifiable without interruption directly from the steering wheel:
FFB 1: Force Feedback effects 100% proportional to the force required by the game.
FFB 2: Improved Force Feedback effects for more efficient control of drifts.
FFB 3: Enhanced Force Feedback effects, allowing users to clearly feel all the effects of racing on the track (rides, off-track skidding, etc.).
NEXT GENERATION HYBRID DRIVE SYSTEM
Providing gamers with extra power (up to 70% more than the previous Thrustmaster hybrid wheel, T150), the T248 dominates the circuit thanks to its intensity. The astonishing driveability made possible by this hybrid system avoids the counterintuitive sensations and friction problems that commonly affect steering wheels without a belt drive component.
25 STOCK BUTTONS
Including 2 two-position encoders (up and down) at the ends of the wheel's central spokes, the T248 has nearly twice the action buttons of previous Thrustmaster wheels (T150 series). This extensive array of physical and virtual buttons allows users to have a great deal of freedom of choice when it comes to assigning racing controls, in any type of game.
MAGNETIC SPEED PADS
Thanks to H.E.A.R.T magnetic technology, the T248's shift paddles allow for super-fast gear changes, with a crisp and precise activation feel (30 ms response time) to avoid driving errors. This proprietary technology, based on a frictionless contactless magnet system, also allows for an unprecedented long-term product life – even with the most intense gaming sessions.
MAGNETIC PEDAL SET
Providing truly exceptional millisecond accuracy, the T3PM Magnetic Pedal Set also allows for 4 modes of brake pedal depress.
